Shrifa

The village of Shrifa was targeted on March 7, 2025, following a campaign of sectarian incitement launched from neighboring religious platforms. Armed groups martyred 30 innocent civilians and methodically burnt several homes. The massacre in Shrifa is cited in human rights reports as a clear example of how hate speech was operationalized to justify violence against the Alawite minority during the coastal campaign.
